In this digital culture, we are literally saturated with the artificial, everything is computerized, and it is becoming increasingly difficult for us to be able to decipher the difference between the altered and the real. Our realities are created for us. I want to begin to challenge our manipulated eyes to be able to tell the difference between the real and the false. This is a screen shot from a video that brings up this challenge. What is it? Is it digital? Is it real? What is the real? What is the digital? Can one escape the binds that the digital world has placed on our perception of reality? I feel that the song "Saturate" by the Chemical Brothers fits this piece.
