NeoVox Announces NEW CONTEST
by Lorraine, NeoVox Project Director, October 6, 2008
NeoVox, the online magazine, is sponsoring a writing contest--open to students from any school. In conjunction with Hachette Books, we will be awarding the winners a box of 11 political books--enough to keep any political junkie abreast of the current election, and the thoughts of some of the players.
The theme of the contest is this:
"It is often said that the personal is political. In what way has the political and the personal intertwined itself in your life?"
Contest is open to all college students. Essays must be in English and be fewer than 1000 words. A total of three (3) packs of books will be awarded.
NeoVox will contact all entrants for possible publication on NeoVox
Deadline is OCTOBER 31.
Any questions? Direct them to lorraine.berry@cortland.edu. Electronic submissions preferred, but mailed entries must be received by deadline.
Books may be viewed at http://www.hachettebookgroupusa.com/contests_index.aspx
