The American War Machine

This piece was based on the idea that the American military is this force of imperialism. Not that there’s really any individuals, but one whole force with President Bush at the helm. I showed just his head coming out of the amalgamation that is the war machine, to convey the sense that he’s detached. I wonder how a person could be responsible for the things that he's responsible for, and still be grounded in any sort of morality, or even posses a hint of compassion. The child on the right with rays of light behind him is meant to convey a sense of innocence. This illustrates the thought the American war machine is recklessly responsible for the deaths of innocent people in our quest for new age imperialism and natural resources.
