The poem along with the terrestrial image the poem creates, are an expression of a impersonal machine born loss of sincerity & culture that many people face on a global scale. Read the poem, it will speak for it's self. I would like to add that the inspiration came from my contemporary art and globalization class as well as the spunky lyrical styling of the music artist Regina Spektor.
